Wot So Funee – Week 3 what you see at the zoo

It’s that time of the week again (ohhh I do love this). We’re linking up again to Wot So Funee on Actually Mummy.
So here is this weeks Cracker (we have 2 but I’m saving the second one for another week)
This week we visited he zoo – getting ready for the zoo in the morning Little Tiger and I had a lovely little conversation.
“LT, what animals are you going to see at the zoo?”
“Crocodile in the pond” – must explain we always see a crocodile in a pond where ever we go
“What else will you see”
“Rhinos, Helephants, Giraffes and Husbands”
“Husbands?”
“Es Husbands in the pond!” In a slightly irritated voice as of course that’s where husbands will be found and Mummy is obviously very stupid not to realise this in the first place.
We visited the zoo – and I am still none the wiser what Husbands are (apart from the obvious of course)

Hairy gorillas ?!
No gorillas at the zoo – and Mr T isn’t hairy at all
no you got me there!
It has me stumped as well – but they are definetly at the zoo
Don’t be silly Mummy! Have you completely forgotten the time that Daddy had to go in the pond and wrestle with the crocodile?? Doh!
That’s more like to be a Mummy in to zoo – I will dig out the pictures of me crocodile hunting in the jungle
Ummm LT has me stumped there too. Bless him. I feel a joint sil trip coming on so Emmy can see those Husbands in the pond too.
Me too – I’ve no idea what they are – A joint trip sounds good
Sometimes husbands just deserve to be in the pond don’t they?
Most of the time with some of the stupid comments they say
You mean you DON’T keep your husband in the pond??
LT thinks crocodiles and frogs live in ours
Moor Hens? If you say it really fast and with a mouthful of rice crackers it could come across as Husbands? Maybe? Hippos? Ah, who knows, probably meant Husbands and nothing else. These kids are smart!
Sometimes my husband is sent to the pond…when he is being particularly irritating! Not really…we don’t have one, but that is funny! Wonder where he got that from?
