Simple Sausage Recipe – Sausage and Potato Tray Bake

I’m a stickler for cooking the same thing time and time again – so as part of my Big 12 for 2013 I set myself the target of 1 new meal a month to try. This month a simple sausage recipe as a bit of a winter warmer – Sausage and Potato Tray Bake. Recipe below the picture.

Ingredients for Sausage and Potato Tray Bake

2 sausage of your choice per person
1 large potatoe per person
1/2 Bell Pepper per person
2 or 3 Button Mushrooms per Person
1/2 small onion per person
Oregano
Olive Oil

Method for Sausage and Potato Tray Bake

In baking tray pour in oil and preheat an oven to 200C. Chop up the potatoes into thin slices and lay in the oil and ensure that they are evenly covered

Cut up the sausages into chunks and add to the potato – drizzle with oil and add in some oregano.

Put in the oven for 10 minutes and then add in the pepper, Mushrooms and Onion all chopped up and mix. Cook for a further 35 minutes and then serve.

I liked it with fresh vegetables
